Membership Engagement Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $20–$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (hours adjust slightly on event days)
Position Summary
The Membership Engagement Manager is responsible for fostering strong relationships with Treasure Coast Builders Association members, supporting membership growth and retention, and ensuring high-quality member experience. This role serves as a primary point of contact for members and prospective members while supporting association events, communications, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Engagement & Retention
- Serve as the primary liaison for TCBA members, responding to inquiries and providing ongoing support.
- Manage new member onboarding, including orientations, welcome packets, and membership certificates.
- Answer questions from prospective members and assist with membership applications (online and paper).
- Conduct scheduled outreach to members at key milestones (3-month, 6-month, and annual touchpoints).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date member profiles and membership records.
- Manage membership tracking lists and follow up on engagement and retention efforts.
Billing & Administrative Support
- Follow up via phone and email on past-due invoices.
- Record incoming payments, enter check data into tracking spreadsheets, and prepare bank deposits.
- Provide administrative support across departments as needed, including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
Event & Program Support
- Coordinate and support member-facing events, including weekly Builder Breakfasts, Construction Night Out, and other association events.
- Serve as administrator for TCBA Councils.
- Assist with event logistics, registration, setup, and member communications.
- Order meals or catering for meetings and events held at TCBA.
Office & Member Services
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet members, guests, and visitors.
- Manage incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
- Maintain office and kitchen supplies and coordinate purchasing as needed.
- Provide general support to ensure smooth daily office operations and a welcoming environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven ability to work professionally with members, business leaders, and community partners
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; enjoys working with people
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent typing, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Reliable transportation required for off-site meetings and events; position involves driving to events throughout the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee counties.
- Prior experience in membership-based organizations, associations, administrative roles, or customer-facing roles preferred
Work Schedule
- Additional hours may be required on occasion to support TCBA events, including our annual golf tournament, clay shoot, fishing tournament, builder breakfasts, and special programs. Event days may involve early mornings or evenings, with schedules adjusted accordingly.
