Job Title: Junior CAD Technician
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $45,000 – $60,000 annually (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a motivated Junior CAD Technician for a reputable civil engineering firm in the area. This full-time position is perfect for individuals beginning their drafting careers and looking to grow their technical skills in a supportive and professional environment. The Junior CAD Technician will assist in preparing drawings, plan sheets, and design layouts for roadway, drainage, utility, and site development projects while learning industry standards and software tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create basic civil drawings and assist with plan production tasks

• Develop alignments, profiles, grading, and utility layouts under supervision

• Revise plans based on redlines and engineer feedback

• Adhere to internal and client CAD standards

• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy

• Learn and grow proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant design practices

Qualifications:

• 0–4 years of experience in CAD drafting (internships or relevant coursework accepted)

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Willingness to learn and develop drafting and design skills

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and a professional work ethic
