Position Title: CNC Machinist
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
Job Summary:Operators are responsible for all aspects of the production process, including, material handling, equipment operation, process monitoring, quality control, warehousing, and various support activities.Will operate a variety of production equipment and tooling as required to the daily operations.The CNC Machine Operator is required to observe product manufacturing and monitor production tolerances as well as production flow.Adjust pre-determined control factors to insure product manufacturing remains within acceptable control limits at all times.Machining Skills:A.) Basic hand tool measurementB.) Material handling and safetyC.) Job planning, and layoutD.) Machine setup (i.e. Work offset and tool offset )E.) Operate metal bandsawF.) Deburr parts according to customers specificationsG.) Maintain consistent part quality ( ex. ISO2008 AS9100 )H.) Maintain machine coolant concentration levelThe CNC Operator is required to maintain production records, perform operations as defined by step-by-step manufacturing procedures and complete production orders when batches are completed.Controls the operation of the machine including adjustments and minor repairs necessary to produce a quality product, which meets company process and product specifications.Plan and set up the correct sequence of machine operations in accordance with blueprints and layouts.Produce the correct type of fit according to the use and function of the component parts and sub-assemblies.CNC Operators work within a team environment to define the process and scope of the work.Operators produce the correct type of fit according to the use and function of the component parts and sub-assemblies.1. Will be skilled at performing machine operator task.Load material on the machine.Change cutting tools.Dimensionally check parts.Making tool offsets.Deburr parts.Maintain process sheet documentation for operations performed.2. Ability to lift 60lbs throughout the shift.3. High School education or equivalent.5. Will report to Manufacturing Lead.
Proficient mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Basic math skills, including measurements and calculations.
