Almar Pools, Inc. was established by Albina and Marion Wiggins in 1972. Following Mr. Wiggins death in 1989, Gerry Waser and Chad Jackson of Jackson Pools in Estero, Florida, purchased the company and changed the name to Almar/Jackson Pools, Inc. Shortly thereafter, Gerry Waser received his state license and became the sole owner of the company.  His philosophy was simple: “Hire the best craftsmen, control your costs, charge a fair price, and show up when you say you will. Most importantly, communicate with your customers and make sure they are satisfied.”

After the first five years of continuous growth and a lengthy search for the “right candidate,” Ray Bushnell was brought on board in 1999. With Ray’s help (and many referrals from our customers) Almar/Jackson Pools doubled in sales and expanded into the commercial market.  They currently have three licensed contractors on their staff, and designer Omar Guzman joined their sales & design team in 2018.

In recent years, Gerry’s daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Drew Nash, have taken on leadership roles within the company and enjoy working alongside Gerry, Ray, and the rest of the team at Almar Jackson Pools to continue the legacy of building quality and unique custom swimming pools.
